KIM KARDASHIAN GETS AN APOLOGY FROM "FAKE MARRIAGE" BLOGGER

Kim Kardashian has reached a settlement with publicist Jonathan Jaxson who claimed to have had personal access to the star’s inside world including dibs on her allegedly fake 72-day marriage to NBA player Kris Humphries.

Jaxson professed to be the reality star’s publicist from 2007 to 2009 alleging he would often stage publicity stunts to boost Kim’s profile and that her short-lived marriage to the New Jersey Nets player was part of that landscape for added noise to up her fame factor.
The fake wedding commentary was too much for the voluptuous beauty and her legal team launched a 200,000 dollar lawsuit against the blogger accusing him of undermining her reputation.
“Kim Kardashian is very happy to announce that she has reached a settlement of her claims against Jonathan Jaxson,” according to her lawyers. “Kim is extremely pleased with the outcome of the matter.”
Apparently a public apology was part of the settlement.
“I wanted to apologize publicly to Kim Kardashian for any confusion that I may have caused by the personal statements I made recently regarding Kim Kardashian,” Jaxson wrote. “I would like to further clarify that I did not have any firsthand knowledge of Kim’s relationship with Kris.  Any statement I made regarding Kim and her marriage was my opinion only and was not intended to imply firsthand knowledge of Kim’s thoughts and feelings.”
Though this is a victory for Kim, she still is dealing with the dissolution of her marriage with Kris and a tell-all book from ex-boyfriend Ray J that doesn’t paint the best picture of her.

She was up in the first row … and [did] pretty good, all considering. [Whitney's mother] Cissy was wonderful.”

Another source added that Cissy broke down at the end when Whitney’s casket lifted, “She was held up by two women, she wailed, “My baby! My baby!” as she was led out the church behind her daughter’s body. A few steps behind her was Bobbi Kristina, also crying uncontrollably as she was comforted by Houston’s close friend, Ray J.”

During the testimonials Tyler spoke of Whitney’s undying faith,

Kevin Costner also gave a memorable testimonial as he spoke of Whitney’s insecurities despite her immense talent and beauty as she prepared for the role of her life in the film ‘The Bodyguard’,
“It’s a tree we could all hang from – the unexplainable burden that comes with fame. Call it doubt. call it fear. I’ve had mine. And I know the famous in the room have had theirs.”

Costner assured Whitney, “You weren’t just pretty, you were as beautiful as a woman could be. And people didn’t just like you Whitney. They loved you.” In the end Kevin Costner spoke to Whitney Houston’s daughter and millions of other aspiring pop stars and said,

“And so to you, Bobbi Kristina and to all those young girls who are dreaming that dream, that maybe thinking, are they good enough? In the end, Whitney Houston was ushered out to the sound of her own voice as the speakers blared “I Will Always Love You.”

A MODEL WITH 20INCH WAIST

Everyone has been referring to Ioana Spangenberg as the human hourglass & that she has an incredible 20 inch waist. She’s 30 year old & is 5ft 6 inches tall but she weighs just six stone.

The model says: 'No one seems to believe it, but every day I eat three big meals and I snack on chocolate and crisps all the time. I just have a small stomach. It's a bit like a gastric band, if I eat too much I feel sick'.

She met her German husband in 2006 & he’s the one who convinced her to do modeling. He photographed her & then posted her pics on the net & they got fantastic response. Now we know that love is really blind, which we can see but who were/are the people that went nuts? And I saw a couple of naked pics which aren't even artistic...not that I have any problem but if her husband is the one who posted all those suggestive, naked pics, then I must say he's really cheap.

I really do not know what to say but this human hourglass looks kind of unhealthy. But having a 20 inch waist is really awesome. Even I can’t think about it. Maybe I don’t want to think about it. However, some people really cannot put on weight no matter how much they eat. Unlike many, I have nothing against the idea of size zero but looking more like a zombie & at the same time feeling unhealthy – that just doesn’t sound great. Anyhow, Ioana is dreadfully thin & she seems like a minus size unhealthy model.

HISTORY AND MEANING OF ASH WEDNESDAY

Ash Wednesday, in the calendar of Western Christianity, is the first day of Lent and occurs 46 days before Easter. It is a moveable fast, falling on a different date each year because it is dependent on the date of Easter. It can occur as early as February 4 or as late as March 10.

According to the canonical gospels of Matthew, Mark and Luke, Jesus spent 40 days fasting in the desert before the beginning of his public ministry, during which he endured temptation by Satan. Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of this 40-day liturgical period of prayer and fasting.

Ash Wednesday derives its name from the practice of placing ashes on the foreheads of adherents as a sign of mourning and repentance to God. The ashes used are typically gathered after the palms from the previous year's Palm Sunday are burned

Ash Wednesday is a day of repentance and it marks the beginning of Lent. Ashes were used in ancient times, according to the Bible, to express mourning. Dusting oneself with ashes was the penitent's way of expressing sorrow for sins and faults. An ancient example of one expressing one's penitence is found in Job42:3–6. Job says to God: "I have heard of thee by the hearing of the ear: but now mine eye seeth thee. The other eye wandereth of its own accord. Wherefore I abhor myself, and repent in dust and ashes." (vv. 5–6, KJV)

The prophet Jeremiah, for example, calls for repentance this way: "O daughter of my people, gird on sackcloth, roll in the ashes" (Jer 6:26).The prophet Daniel pleaded for God this way: "I turned to the Lord God, pleading in earnest prayer, with fasting, sackcloth and ashes" (Daniel 9:3). Just prior to the New Testament period, the rebels fighting for Jewish independence, the Maccabees, prepared for battle using ashes: "That day they fasted and wore sackcloth; they sprinkled ashes on their heads and tore their clothes" (1 Maccabees 3:47; see also 4:39).

Other examples are found in several other books of the Bible including, Numbers 19:9, 19:17, Jonah 3:6, Matthew 11:21, and Luke 10:13, and Hebrews 9:13. Ezekiel 9 also speaks of a linen-clad messenger marking the forehead of the city inhabitants that have sorrow over the sins of the people. All those without the mark are destroyed.

It marks the start of a 43-day period which is an allusion to the separation of Jesus in the desert to fast and pray. During this time he was tempted. Matthew 4:1–11, Mark 1:12–13, and Luke 4:1–13.While not specifically instituted in the Bible text, the 40-day period of repentance is also analogous to the 40 days during which Moses repented and fasted in response to the making of the Golden calf

This practice is common in much of Christendom, being celebrated by Catholics, Anglicans, Lutherans, Methodists, Presbyterians, and some Baptist denominations.

Ash Wednesday is a moveable fast, occurring 46 days before Easter. It fell on February 17 in 2010 and on March 9 in 2011. In future years Ash Wednesday will occur on these dates:
  • 2012 – February 22
  • 2013 – February 13
  • 2014 – March 5
  • 2015 – February 18
  • 2016 – February 10
  • 2017 – March 1
  • 2018 – February 14
  • 2019 – March 6
  • 2020 – February 26
  • 2021 – February 17
  • 2022 – March 2
  • 2023 – February 22
The earliest date Ash Wednesday can occur is February 4 (in a common year with Easter on March 22), which happened in 1573, 1668, 1761 and 1818 and will next occur in 2285. The latest date is March 10 (when Easter Day falls on April 25) which occurred in 1546, 1641, 1736, 1886 and 1943 and will next occur in 2038. Ash Wednesday has never occurred on Leap Year Day (February 29), and it will not occur as such until 2096. The only other years of the third millennium that will have Ash Wednesday on February 29 are 2468, 2688, 2840 and 2992. (Ash Wednesday falls on February 29 only if Easter is on April 15 in a leap year.)

Whitney's Grave

Whitney Elizabeth Houston (August 9, 1963 – February 11, 2012) was an American recording artist, actress, producer, and model. In 2009, the Guinness World Records cited her as the most-awarded female act of all-time. Houston was also one of the world's best-selling music artists, having sold over 170 million albums, singles and videos worldwide.

She released seven studio albums and three movie soundtrack albums, all of which have diamond, multi-platinum, platinum or gold certification. Houston's crossover appeal on the popular music charts, as well as her prominence on MTV, starting with her video for "How Will I Know" influenced several African-American female artists to follow in her footsteps.

She met R&B singer Bobby Brown at the 1989 Soul Train Music Awards. After a three-year courtship, the two were married on July 18, 1992. On March 4, 1993, Houston gave birth to their daughter Bobbi Kristina Houston Brown, her only child, and his fourth.

Though Houston was seen as a "good girl" with a perfect image in the 1980s and early 1990s, by the late 1990s, her behavior changed. She was often hours late for interviews, photo shoots and rehearsals, and canceling concerts and talk-show appearances. With the missed performances and weight loss, rumors about Houston using drugs with her husband circulated. On January 11, 2000, airport security guards discovered marijuana in both Houston's and husband Bobby Brown's luggage at a Hawaii airport, but the two boarded the plane and departed before authorities could arrive. Charges were later dropped against them, but rumors of drug usage between the couple would continue to surface.

Two months later, Clive Davis was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. Houston had been scheduled to perform at the event, but failed to show up. And the drug addiction for Whitney had just begun..................

After years of controversy and turmoil, Houston separated from Bobby Brown in September 2006, filing for divorce the following month. On February 1, 2007, Houston asked the court to fast track their divorce. The divorce was finalized on April 24, 2007, with Houston granted custody of the couple's daughter. On May 4, Houston sold the suburban Atlanta home featured in Being Bobby Brown for $1.19 million. A few days later, Brown sued Houston in Orange County, California court in an attempt to change the terms of their custody agreement.

Brown also sought child and spousal support from Houston. In the lawsuit, Brown claimed that financial and emotional problems prevented him from properly responding to Houston's divorce petition. Brown lost at his court hearing as the judge dismissed his appeal to overrule the custody terms, leaving Houston with full custody and Brown with no spousal support.

On February 9, 2012, Houston visited singers Brandy and Monica, together with Clive Davis, at their rehearsals for Davis' pre-Grammy Awards party. That same day, she made her last public performance, when she joined Kelly Price on stage at the party and sang "Jesus Loves Me"

On February 11, 2012, Houston was found dead in a suite at the Beverly Hilton Hotel, in Beverly Hills, California, submerged in the bathtub. The cause of death was not immediately known. Beverly Hills paramedics arrived at approximately 3:30 p.m. and found the singer unresponsive and performed Houston was pronounced dead at 4:00 p.m. PST. Local police said there were "no obvious signs of criminal intent.
