The biggest river within the world, measured by the number of water that flows down it, is that the Amazon. On average one hundred twenty,000 cubic metres (about twenty swimming pools' worth) of water flows out of its mouth each second.
The longest river of Europe is that the River Volga. It flows primarily in an exceedingly southerly direction through Russia into the Caspian ocean. The second longest is that the Danube, flows west to east before getting into the Black ocean.
